La mayoría de los verbos en Inglés son Regulares, es decir forman el Pasado y el Participio añadiendo la terminación _ed al infinitivo.
Pero hay otros verbos que no siguen esta regla y tienen formas distintas para el Pasado y el Participio.
A estos verbos se les llama Irregulares y precisamente por su irregularidad es más difícil aprenderlos.
Conviene recordar que, en español, el Participio de todos los verbos siempre termina en -ado, -ido, -to o -cho (am-ado, tem-ido, part-ido, pues-to, escri-to, di-cho, he-cho) y se utiliza, junto con el auxiliar Haber, para la formación de los tiempos compuestos.
